The city of San Francisco, founded by the Spanish in the late eighteenth century, has a rich history of discovery and converging cultures. Populations from all over the world converged on the small town when in 1849 gold became the reason to move to California. Soon, immigrants from the Far East traveled across the pacific and America's first Chinatown started. However, with the influx of so many people, San Francisco soon played host for many personal and public tragedies.
These tragedies are the groundwork and the back-story for many unusual events that happen today. Unexplained phenomena occur in several locations around the city including city parks, old hotels, and even the narrow streets of Chinatown.
